Pamela Joy Sommer (Olson), age 73, of Somers, WI, passed away peacefully at her residence on September 24th, 2026, while surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 16th, 1953, to the late Leonard and Kathy Olson. On October 27th, 1979, she married the love of her life Terry Sommers at Bethany Lutheran Church in Kenosha, WI. The two remained faithfully married until her passing.
For many years, Pamela worked as a respiratory therapist, a job she immensely enjoyed. She loved going on walks, biking, kayaking and gardening. She loved being outdoors and traveling to warms places with her family. She took great joy in being a grandma, and loved spending time with her grandchildren as much as possible. Above all, faith was always first in her life. She and Terry were very active at Messiah Lutheran Church in Kenosha.
Pamela is survived by her husband: Terry Sommer, children: Michael (Paulette) Sommer, Mark Sommer and Alex Sommer, grandchildren: Hunter, Keaira, Isaac, Elijah, Giulian, Gavin, Georgia and Grayson, sister: Dawn Smith and many other living relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, sister: Starr Olson, and brother: Larry Johnson.
A public visitation with family and friends will be held at Messiah Lutheran Church (2026 22nd Ave, Kenosha, WI 53140) on Friday, October 2nd, 2026, at 10 A.M. A funeral service will also be held at church at 11 A.M. She will be laid to rest at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park immediately following the funeral service.
