Thoughts for Jane Vogen (1934-2018);

  • Patti,
    My deepest sympathy to you and your family in the passing of your mom. May wonderful memories provide you some comfort during this painful time.
    With love,
    Shari Hanson

  • My heart goes out to the family! Longevity is certainly a blessing, and death at any age is too soon. God knows the pain we experience when we lose our dear loved ones. He even views death as an enemy! (1 Corinthians 15:26) God will soon eliminate this enemy, and no one will have to deal with the pain it brings. May this hope bring the family comfort during this difficult time. Click on the link for more comforting thoughts: https://www.jw.org/finder?wtlocale=E&issue=2018-11&pub=g18&srcid=share

  • To Jane’s family and friends, please accept my heartfelt condolences on your loss. I have found comfort in reading Job 14:14,15 where it shows that Jehovah God yearns to bring back to life the dead who are preserved in his memory. The Bible gives us a wonderful hope of living in a paradise on earth and seeing the resurrection of our dead loved ones. (Luke 23:43; John 5:28,29) May this bring you some comfort and strength as well, remembering that soon God will wipe away our tears and swallow up death forever.
