  • The Barrette boys are my step brothers…but I always preferred to say my brothers!
I met them and Clina when I was about 11 yrs old. They actually lived only 6 blocks from me, so I was at their house alot, like my second home! Clina was ALWAYS super nice to me!
Always engaged me in conversation….made me feel like I belonged there. My brothers mother
Loved her boys very much. She knew how to show her boys “tough love”, which helped them learn life lessons….that have stayed with them to this day.
I am so sorry for your loss. May Christ give you His peace. My and my family’s prayers are with you.

  • LaMothe Family says:

Sorry to hear of your moms passing. Praying for memories of your mother to bring you strength and comfort. One of the funny memories still talked about in our family is the time Verna’s tire fell off her car as she and your mom drove home from Lake Forest. They lost control driving down a steep embankment, hit a ditch, crossed over a service road and by the grace of God landed in a field uninjured. They shared a lot of laughs for years to come sharing that nerve wracking encounter. We thank God for years friendship and will keep you in our prayers.

    Sincerely,
    The LaMothe family
