Alexandria “Lexi” Lee Chagoya, age 15, of Pleasant Prairie, passed away on August 7th, 2026, at her residence while surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 22nd, 2010, in Kenosha to Britney Eads and Antonio Chagoya III. She attended both Lance Middle School and Tremper High School and was about to enter her sophomore year. She loved singing in choir and loved befriending the office staff and security guards.
Family was most important in Lexi’s life, and her favorite times were when everyone was getting along spending time with one another, especially during the holidays. She loved the color purple, Stitch and Jack Skellington (from her two favorite movies: Lilo and Stitch and The Nightmare before Christmas).
Lexi is survived by her loving mother: Britney Eads, grandparents: Shelley Serjern, Antonio Chagoya Jr., Katherine Adams, Lulu Amezcua, great grandparents: Diane Serjern, Manuela Chagoya, and Antonio Chagoya, sisters: Angel’lia Moreno, Aracely Jones, and Judith Chagoya, aunts; Octivia Burmann, Adonnia Newton, Terren Carleton, Victoria Chagoya, Nina Hinojosa, Gail Holmes, and Nikki Moreno, Uncles: Richie Eads Jr, Randall Cross, Samuel Metcalf, John Serjern III and John Serjern IV, as well as many other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, and Martin “Choney Tony” Moreno. She is preceded in death by her father: Antonio Chagoya III and great grandpa John Cliff Serjern Jr.
A memorial service for Lexi will be held at Kemper Center Founder’s Hall (6501 3rd Avenue, Kenosha, WI, 53143), on Monday, August 24th, 2026, at 5 P.M. A visitation will also be held at Kemper Center from 3 P.M. until 5 P.M.
