Robert Mark Ewing

Robert Mark “Binsk” Ewing passed away on 12/27/21 from complications due to COVID. He was born in Kenosha to Jeannette (Wamboldt) & James Ewing on 11/17/1964 where he lived through 2004. He was tormented as the “adopted” brother by his two older, loving siblings, Jimmy and John. He graduated from Tremper HS in 1982.

Bob’s daughter, Marah, was born in 1989. He married Elizabeth Babbitt in 1994 and gained his first son, Ian. In 1997 the family welcomed a second son, Jake Robert. They moved to Hempstead, Texas in 2004.

Bob was a talented craftsman and handyman, well respected businessman, excellent pool player, and decent golfer. He loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren Noel, Owen, and Mia, travel, and play with any dog he could find. Bob was also a huge Packer fan. He and Elizabeth own a successful home building company, Ewing Builders, LLC in Hempstead.

Bob is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, brothers James (Pam) and John (Marcia) of Kenosha, niece Angie, mother-in-law Jo Ann Babbitt, and many close friends, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be from 9:30am to 11:00am Friday, 12/31/21, at the Women’s Club of Kenosha (6028 – 8th Avenue) and will be a dual service with his beloved mother Jeanette Ewing. An interment will follow at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Bob’s name to the Kenosha Humane Society.
