Richard A. Nelson

      Richard A. Nelson, age 72, of Kenosha passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at Grande Prairie Health and Rehabilitation Center. Richard was born on June 25, 1948 in Chicago, IL to Elmer and Margot (Panse) Nelson. He was very caring and compassionate. Richard loved the Bible and helping and praying for those in need. He also enjoyed studying family history, traveling (which took him to places such as, Germany, Canada, Australia and throughout the United States). Richard was also an avid Cubs fan.

      He was preceded in death by his parents and his older brother, Marvin E. Nelson.

      Richard is survived by his sister, Eleanor (Mike) Cohoon of Kenosha as well as his nieces and friends.

      Richard’s family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff of Grande Prairie for the care given to Richard.
