Richard A. Furloni, age 66 a resident of Kenosha, died Sunday January 4th 2015 at Aurora St. Luke’s in Milwaukee WI.
Born on September 18th 1948 in Kenosha he was the son of the late Ulysess and Jenny (Meo) Furloni.
Richard graduated high school in 1966 from Tremper High School in Kenosha and continued his education at Gateway Technical College as an electrician.
In 1967 he married Karen Spitzer of Kenosha; they were later divorced in June of 1985.
For almost thirty years, he enjoyed working as an electrician for the Frost Company, and then was employed by Dairyland Greyhound Park where he would eventually retire as an electrician.
He had a passion for travel but his favorite destination was to Las Vegas. He was always looking for people to take to Las Vegas for the first time, and took as many as four trips a year there.
His greatest joy was spending time with his family and his companion Sandy Ehnow who he loved very much.
He positively impacted so many lives, whether it was giving advice or opening up his home; his heart was as big as he was. He always saw the best in everyone and will be remembered by many as one of the best guys there ever was. He will be deeply missed by his family and his many friends.
He is survived by his best friend and companion; Sandy Ehnow of Kenosha; two sons; Richard Furloni of Kenosha; and Keith (Angie) Furloni of Kenosha; one daughter Michelle Furloni of Kenosha; and six grandchildren; Logan, Shelby, Meena, Gabriel, Jordan and Madison. He is further survived by one brother; Guido Paul (Ruth Ann) Furloni.
