Nancy Kewenig (1946-2015)

Nancy J. Kewenig, age 69 a resident of Kenosha, died Wednesday October 21^st 2015 at Brookside Care Center.

Born in Kenosha on March 21^st, 1946, Nancy was the daughter of Robert and Edna (Schulte) Elsen. She was a graduate of St. Joseph High School, and in 1967 she was united in marriage with Lawrence Kewenig at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Kenosha.

Nancy graduated from cosmetology school and was well known in Kenosha as the owner and operator of the Uptown Beauty Shop for 25 years. She was also employed by Abbott Laboratories, retiring in 2004.

Surviving Nancy is her husband Larry of Kenosha as well as her brother Jerry (Barbara) Elsen of Bristol and her sister Mary (Gary) Koslica of Kenosha. She will be fondly remembered by many customers and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Monday October 26^th 2015 at 6:00PM in the Kemper Center Founders Hall. Visitation with the family will be on Monday in Founders Hall from 4:00PM until the time of services.

Burial will take place at a later date at Southern WI Veterans Cemetery in Union Grove WI.
