Hello. I’m Sheila and I am sending my condolences on your recent loss. I am one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and would like to share a scripture. You will be surprised to find that in the Bible at Acts 24:15 it says, “There is going to be a resurrection.” Along with God’s promise to us at Revelation 21:3, 4 of sorrow, death, and pain being done away with permanently.

It is my hope that this bit of information is of comfort to you. Please be sure to find videos, movies, articles, and even an online Bible – all free of charge for your use, along with information on the resurrection, and current events on JW.ORG

    May God be with you.

    Sincerely,
    Sheila M. Robinson

  • Despite challenges in raising money and gaining state approval, University of Houston officials are still set on opening a medical school – possibly by 2019 – on the flagship southeast Houston campus.

  • To Johns friends and family,
I had the pleasure of working with John for many years. I am deeply saddened about the passing of John. Oftentimes I would give John rides home after work, I also attended his Mother’s service. I just learned last night of his passing and I am sorry I was not able to attend the service. John was a great guy, and I know he touched many lives. He will truly be missed many people. My deepest sympathy to John’s loved ones.
