James “Jimmie” “Jimmer” Hall

James “Jimmie” Hall, known to his family and friends as Jimmie or Jimmer, passed away on August 13, 2026, at the age of 33, surrounded by those who loved him.
Jimmie was a man with a truly big personality, a massive heart, and a spirit that left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He was funny, charismatic, and wonderfully stubborn—traits that matched his fierce protectiveness and the depth of his love for his family and friends.
He attended the Kenosha Unified School District and graduated from Tremper High School in 2011. Living out his deep fascination and respect for law enforcement and community service, Jimmie was a dedicated member of society, proudly serving as a member of the Kenosha Police Explorers and Kenosha Scout Leaders.
A proud and passionate fan, Jimmie could always be found cheering on the Green Bay Packers, the Milwaukee Brewers, the Kentucky Wildcats, and the Boise State Broncos. He also always enjoyed listening to country music, with his favorite artist being George Strait.
Above all else, Jimmie’s absolute favorite thing in the entire world was spending time with his tiny best friend—his beloved niece, Kathryn. That special bond brought him immense joy, and his devotion to those he loved defined who he was.
Jimmie is survived by his father, Russell (Renee) Hall; mother, Karen Calchera-Hall; sister, Hannah (Dustin) McCrary; cherished niece, Kathryn McCrary; and his aunt Becky, who lovingly cared for him at home for the past year and a half; along with many other loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James (Kathryn) Calchera and Robert (Roberta) Hall, and his uncle, Robert Schaefer.
A visitation will be held on September 5, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Trinity Christian Center located at 2600 Lewis Ave, Zion, IL, followed by the funeral service at 1:00 PM, led by Pastor Tim Eddy.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Pastor Tim Eddy and his pastoral care team for their unwavering support, compassion, and everything they have done for us during this time.
Note: The family kindly requests that guests honor Jimmie by wearing a shirt featuring one of his favorite sports teams, or a fire or police shirt.
