Gerald R. Natzke, age 78, a resident of Kenosha, died April 5, 2017, at his home surrounded by his loving wife, Jackie, and friends, Paula and Steve.
Jerry was born on September 21, 1938, to the late Rudolph and Adella Natzke in Hamburg, WI. Jerry graduated from Bradford High School in 1956. He served in the US Navy from 1956 to 1959. On March 29, 1980, he married the love of his life, Jackie Hoey (nee Trimble) in Kenosha, WI. Jerry was employed at AMC-Chrysler as a supervisor for 30 years. Upon retirement from Chrysler, he became a security guard at Dairyland Greyhound Park where he worked for 25 years. He was a Green Bay Packer season ticket holder, was an avid Chicago White Sox fan, and was happiest when riding his 1952 Harley Davidson.
Jerry is survived by his wife Jackie, stepsons James L. (Shelly) Hoey of Corona Del Mar, CA., Patrick T. (Mila) Hoey of Tempe, AZ., Michael M. (Cathy) Hoey of Kenosha, Carl, “Kip” (Kathy) Rosencutter, of Kenosha, stepdaughters Karen A. (Jim) Rhode of Kenosha, and Jennifer S. (Robert) Eue of Minneapolis, MN. He is also survived by his brother Donald (Erica) Natzke, his niece, Sheri Thompson, nephews Terry Richter and Noah Natzke. Further surviving him are many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren all of whom he was very proud of.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Delores Richter, and stepdaughter Sharon Matera.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2017, at 12:00 noon at First Presbyterian Church in Kenosha (1803 83rd Street). Visitation will be on Saturday at the church from 11:00AM until the time of services.
The family would like to thank the “angels” at Hospice Alliance for their compassionate care. They would also like to thank Dr. Feuerbach and Dr. Bloom, as well as Pastor Lance Loveall. Special thanks to niece Sheri, neighbors Bev and Matt, and their dear friends Paula and Steve Jakubowski.

To Jerry’s family and friends. How sadden you all must feel these are indeed difficult times. Death is so devastating however please remember our Heavenly Father’s promise at Revelation 21:3, 4 and Isaiah 55:11. I hope that reading those thoughts bring some comfort as we all await to see our loved ones again. My most sincere and heartfelt prayers and condolences during these difficult times.

I remember Jery from out at the track…Oh man…I absolutely loved working with Jerry…He was a hoot! I just now (6 years later) learned of his passing…
I called him up one day after about 2-3 years after I left DGP…
He still recognized my voice right off the bat lol…
He was just awesome to work with as was along with so many others there…May he rest in peace…Take care…
