Donald Krogh, age 79, a resident of Caledonia, passed away Wednesday November 30, 2011 at Franciscan Villa.
Born on October 4, 1932 in Racine WI, he was the son of Walter and Helene (D’Aoust) Krogh. Donald was educated in the schools of Racine. He was a longtime member and usher at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. Donald served his country in Korea from 1950 to 1953 as a member of the U.S. Army. On February 2, 1985, he married Lucy Larson. He was employed by and retired from JI Case Company. He previously worked in law enforcement. He enjoyed woodworking in his retirement.
Donald is survived by his wife Lucy, three sons Scott (Diane) Krogh of Caledonia WI, David Krogh of Caledonia WI, and Nick (Bailey) Andersen of Florida and two daughters Terri Krogh of Racine WI and Debra (Mike) Porcaro of Mosinee WI. He is also survived by two step daughters Ginny (Scott) Christofferson of Muskego WI and Kathy (David) Perkins of Caledonia WI. Donald is further survived by eleven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren and a brother Robert Krogh of Kenosha WI.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2011 at 3:00 PM at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church (4340 Six Mile Rd). Visitation with the family will be held on Saturday at the church from 1:00 until the time of services. Burial will take place on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Prince of Peace Lutheran Church would be appreciated.
