David (Dave) McPhaul passed away January 13, 2015 at home surrounded by his loving family.
Born May 15, 1956, he was the son of Roger and the late Kay McPhaul. He attended St. Marks Elementary school, Lincoln Jr. High School and Tremper High School. On May 27, 1977 he married Lynne Servais. They later divorced. He worked 29 years for the Kenosha Unified School District, first as head custodian at Forest Park School then at his request as a warehouse truck driver delivering lunches and various equipment to the Kenosha schools. Dave was an avid bicycle rider putting on many miles and hours around the Kenosha area. He also enjoyed golf, playing softball and spending time with his family out at Lily Lake. Riley, a beautiful Golden Retriever was a constant companion on long walks in the area.
David is survived by a son Matthew, a daughter Kristin and two grandchildren, Ani and Tilly. He is further survived by his father Roger, his brother James (Cheryl) and two sisters Linda (Dave) Sherfinski and Nancy (Richard) Buege.
He was preceded in death by his mother Kay (Becker) McPhaul and grandparents Archie and Myrtle McPhaul and Matthew and Gertrude Becker.
Christian Services will be held at St. Marks Catholic Church (7117 14th Avenue), on Friday January 16, 2015 at 6:00PM. Visitation will be from 4:00pm until the time of services.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials to the family would be appreciated. At the family’s request, interment will be private.

I am so sorry to hear of Dave’s passing. Please accept my sincere condolences. I have many fond memories of Dave when I worked at the ESC. He always had a kind word and a smile under that mustache. He will be missed.
