Charles E. Luitze

Charles Eugene Luitze April 18, 1950 – August 16, 2020

Charles (Charlie) Luitze was a beloved friend to many, who was taken too soon. Charlie served in the Marines during the Vietnam war and was proud to have served his country.  He worked at Johnson Outboard and finished his career part time at Gerber Collision. He devotedly loved God and expressed that love through care of others and being an active member of Prayer House Assembly of God. He delighted to bless others through sharing the bounty of his garden, helping those in need, and kind words for everyone.  He loved to sing! To God and in praise of His Savior. He often wrote and composed private songs celebrating salvation and his Lord. He is survived by his children, grandchildren and many friends.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2020, at 1:30 p.m. at PrayerHouse Assembly of God. 1525 24th Ave. Kenosha, WI. Friends and family may visit from 1 pm until time of service. Private burial will be in Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.

Thoughts for Charles E. Luitze;

  • I had the honor of meeting Charlie through Richard King. Charlie ALWAYS had a bright smile on his face, very loving and the Lord radiated in Charlie’s presence. My heart is deeply touched by Charlie. We had prayer time with Richard often. Charlie, you will forever have a place in my heart. God be with you and your family.

  • Charlie was a man of deep and enduring faith in His Lord Jesus Christ. He was faithful in prayer and gifted with joyful songs of worship and praise. He was a blessing to all whenever he visited New Song Worship services. He is now absent from the body and present with the Lord – he will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

  • charlie we are going to miss you so vary much now you are in God hands and he will take good care of you this i do no cuz we love you so much bonnie ventura your cuz and leilani akina xxxxxooooo AMEN xxxxooo

  • Julie Hemminger Condrin says:

    After reading all the kind and loving comments, It brings me comfort to know my Brother Charles was loved by so many. That he touched your lives with kindness. I just recently found out of his death and the circumstances surrounding it. This is all new and fresh for me. We were many years apart in age and in time apart ,but we will be together some day in Heaven. Rest in peace, Charlie.

    • I pray God would fill your heart with peace and your sorrow be ministered to by Christ’s love. Take comfort in him being a godly man and you will see him again in heaven.

  • The evil man who murdered you deserves to die for his crime!!! Shame on the corrupt court for taking pity on him!!! And shame on the state as a whole for not protecting you and letting this happen!!!
