Chad P. Kennell

Chad Patrick Kennell, age 50, passed away on Tuesday, November 10th, 2020 in Trevor, Wisconsin. Chad was born on March 17th, 1970 in Peoria, Illinois to Gary and Sandra (Gastman) Kennell. Chad grew up in many states but resided in the Kansas City area for the majority of his life. Chad married Heather (Hunt) on July 29th, 1995. He worked as a private pilot for much of his adult life throughout Kansas City and the Chicago area. He was a member of Hope Fellowship Church while he resided in Kansas City, Missouri. Chad, Heather, Rylee, and Layni enjoyed traveling around the world, specifically family trips to Disney. Chad had a passion for all things hunting, fishing, and aviation. Those who knew Chad know that he could talk for hours about Gulfstream aircrafts. Chad will be remembered by all who knew him as a kind and caring person.
Chad was preceded in death by his father-in-law David Hunt and his nephew Connor McKinney.
Chad is survived by his wife Heather (Hunt) Kennell, children, Rylee and Layni Kennell, parents Gary and Sandra Kennell, siblings Jerrod (Lisa) Kennell and Kimberly Bloede, mother-in-law Connie Hunt, sister-in-law’s, brother-in-law, as well as many nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
Services will be held at Hope Fellowship Church in Kansas City, Missouri on Monday, November 16th, 2020. Time of visitation is 10 am with a service to follow.

In lieu of flowers, please send memorials for the furtherance of his daughter’s education, in care of Heather Kennell, to P.O. Box 2 Salem, WI 53168.

    • So very sad to hear of Chad’s passing. We had some great times fishing at Lake of the Ozarks with Chad and the AVMATS and Jet Corp guys. We kept in touch and I’m shocked to get this news. He will be missed. I pray that God has welcomed him home. RIP my friend.

    He took 5 or 6 art classes. He was also my cadet—he was so helpful and kind. My prayers are with you and your family.

  • Heather and girls I always thought a lot of Chad he was such a loving kid and still as a man he was a very sweet kid liked to tease a lot and just an all out sweet guy!
