William Maricle (1937-2017)

William “Papa” Maricle, passed away peacefully on March 19, 2017 at Zablocki Veterans Hospital in Milwaukee after a long courageous fight with cancer.

        William was an avid adventurer with an artist’s spirit. He loved to travel, meet new people, and collect saws and pigs along his journey. William enjoyed making people laugh and was known for his “tall tales”.
        William is survived by his loving partner of 40 years, Bonnie Ray, daughter- in law Lisa (Bryan) Ray, two grandchildren Ashley Ray, Kristopher Ray and two great grandchildren Camren and Mia Lassiter. He is further survived by his two brothers James David (Carol Ann) Maricle I, Edward Maricle, goddaughter, Cynthia Maricle, nephews, William, James David II, and Steven Maricle.

     William was preceded in death by his mother Esther M. Maricle and father James M. Maricle.

     He will be greatly missed by those who loved him and a Celebration of Life will be planned in the late spring.
