Bill Schwuchow, age 53, a resident of Milwaukee, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday May 6, 2013 at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee.
Born on May 2, 1960 in Waukegan IL he is the son of the late William L. Schwuchow and Judith (Atwood) Schwuchow of Kenosha.
He grew up in Kenosha and graduated from Tremper High School in 1979.
He was a proud veteran, having served in the US Army with Special Forces.
He was an expert arborist and worked in that field for many years, having done a lot of work on the IL North shore.
He loved all animals and was an avid hunter since he was 14 years of age. He loved being outdoors and especially enjoyed fishing and gardening. He also was a voracious reader.
He lived for his friends and cared more for their well being then for his own.
He is survived by his mother Judy of Kenosha; one brother Michael of Kenosha; two sisters, Tammie (Jim) Stephens of Hartline, WA; Lynda (Jim) Storey of Kenosha; and nieces and nephews; Tim (Josie) Schwuchow, Katie (Brandon) Walsh, Amy (John) Beaunaux, Bethany Storey and Megan Storey.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Funeral services with full military honors will be held on Saturday May 11th 2013 at 12:30PM at the Journey Church (Formerly First Assembly of God at 10700-75th Street). Visitation with the family will be held on Saturday at the church from 10:30 AM until 12:30PM, with the service following at that time. Private burial will take place on Monday May 13th at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated.
