Terry L. Giggy

        Terry went home to be with his Savior on July 6, 2020. He was born on October 13, 1950 in New Castle, IN. He grew up in Hagerstown, IN and graduated from Hagerstown High School in 1968. He also graduated from Taylor University in Upland, IN in 1973. There he met his wife Susan Weiss. They were married in Kenosha on June 23, 1973.

        Terry worked for AMC/Chrysler as a model maker and tool grinder for 33 years.

       Terry was an observer of life and loved to research history and many other subjects. He loved Indiana basketball, golfing, camping and hiking in many National Parks around the U.S.

       Terry was a long time member of Immanuel Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon and Sunday School teacher. He last attended Pleasant Prairie Baptist Church.

       He is survived by his wife, Susan; daughter, Jill (Joey) Jankowski; son, Steven; grandchildren, Peter, Anne and Luke; his mother, Martha; brothers, Bruce (Diana), Barry (Glenda) and Kevin (Onalee) Giggy; a sister, Suzanne (Bob) Hightower; brothers-in-law, Robert (Beth) Weiss and Lee (Gloria) Weiss; he is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

       Terry will be remembered for his quick wit, love of nature, waterfalls, his deep studying into issues and his love for family and the Lord.

      Private family services for Terry will be held at a future date.

    I am so very sorry for your huge loss. Things do not make sense to us but we can take comfort with the assurance that life’s events are woven into the beautiful and perfect tapestry of God’s sovereign plan.
    I didn’t know that Terry was a Sunday school teacher at IBC or that he was a deacon. It is nice to know that history.
    God blessed you with many years together. I am praying that you take solace in those memories and in the knowledge that Terry is home at last.

    I worked with Terry at Chrysler for Many years He was such an INSPIRATION to Many of Us. A Family Member away from Home.

    He Touched Many People in his LIFETIME and didn`t mind SHARING HIS SOFT SPOKEN Words n HUMOR which could be DRY at times n We would still Laugh.

    He was such a Caring Person with a HEART OF GOLD.
