Terri A. Shinske, age 70 a resident of Kenosha died January 1st 2017 in North Carolina.
Terri was born in Racine on March 8th 1946, the daughter of Thomas J. and Julietta (Beal) Shinske. Terri worked for the Kenosha Unified Department of Recreation and Senior Citizen Center for 38 years, retiring in 2003. She loved people and had a contagious smile. Outside of work, she spent time socializing and enjoyed travel. She always had a soft spot for animals because of the kindness in her heart. Terri was a devout Catholic and a proud member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church.
Surviving Terri is her sister Lynn Kuhl of North Carolina and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews who will miss her dearly.
Terri was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Wayne Shinske and her sisters Shirley Shinske and Carol Doyle.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday January 7th 2017 at 11:00AM at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Kenosha. Visitation with the family will be on Friday from 5:00PM until 7:00PM at the Woman’s Club of Kenosha, (6028-8th Avenue or across from Library Park) and again on Saturday at the church from 10:00AM until the time of mass. Burial will take place later.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to either the church or to the charity of one’s choice would be appreciated.
