Susan “Suzi” Marie Ruffolo

Susan “Suzi” Marie Ruffolo, age 66 died at Froedtert South Pleasant Prairie Campus on Friday April 12th, 2024. Susan was born on June 28th, 1957, at the US Army Hospital in Maryland, the daughter of Ronald and Barbara Ernst (Sniatynski)

Suzi was a graduate of Tremper High School in 1975 and attended Gateway Technical College and Milwaukee Nursing School where she graduated with her CNA license. She worked at Kenosha Hospital in the Lab and also at 5 Star Homes Assisted Living. Suzi married John Ruffolo in August 1999 and together they lived in Kenosha until his death. Suzi loved horses and a daily ride to see the lake. She enjoyed traveling and making many lasting memories with her dad.

Suzi is survived by her father Ronald, brother Ronald A. of Adams WI, and Steven of Kenosha WI, nieces Krysta (Dinesh) Pun of Perry Hail MD and Bailey (Joe) Schoenfeld of Clintonville and great nephew Cooper Pun.

She is preceded in death by her husband John, her mother Barbara, aunt and uncle Shirley and Gene Yule, and Kenneth and Anita Sniatynski.

Suzi’s family would like to give a special thank you to Dr’s Joe Garretto, Joshua Bloom, and Raaid Museitif and all the wonderful and amazing nurses and staff at Froedtert South St. Catherine’s Hospital and Dr Crotch of St. Lukes Milwaukee for the compassion and care they all showed Suzi and her family.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Tuesday April 23rd, 2024, at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church at 10:00AM. Visitation with the family will be on Tuesday at the church from 9:00 AM until the time of mass. Private burial will take place at St. George Catholic Cemetery at a later date.

    Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers! I worked with a Suzi for 10 years at Meadowmere! We shared many laughs, tears and hugs together! She will be truly missed! She had a laugh that I will never forget! Rest well with the angels my sweet! Till we see each other again!

  • Very sad to hear of Suzi’s passing. We were very good friends back in the days – bowling and thru high school. I remember her on the Pom Pom squad!!!
