Susan M. Webb, a longtime resident of Kenosha, passed away on October 6th, 2026. She was 75 years old.
Susan was born in Arcadia, Wisconsin to parents Harry and Marcella Dlapa. She and the rest of her large family eventually moved to Oak Creek, where her father had found work and a home large enough for 6 sisters. She graduated from Oak Creek High School.
Susan (Miss Sue, as her students knew her) worked for 17 years as a crossing guard in Kenosha. She helped countless kids safely cross 22nd avenue every day. Many former students of Grewenow Elementary remember her fondly.
She is survived by her son Randy (Heather) Webb, daughters Sharon Wilkinson, Tammy (Mike) Conway, and Pam Delaney; grandchildren Brody and Samantha; great grandchildren Genevieve and Willow; and sisters Maryann Breese, Marge (Mike) Wiza, and Pauline (Jim) Helman.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Geri Ann Dlapa and Vicki Beer, and her Brother-in-Law Gary Breese.
A Memorial Service for Susan will be held at Kemper Center Founders Hall (6501 3rd Ave) on Friday, October 16th. Visitation begins at 3pm and a brief prayer service will take place at 4pm.

Steve Casey says:
Miss Sue was the crossing guard for all three of my children all through grade school. She took very good care of all of the kids and all of the parents had a great respect for her.
Marge Wiza says:
Sue was a very creative person who lived her life on her terms. She had a heart of gold and had a lot of friends. Her last years were not the best for her unfortunately. God has welcomed het home and I am praying for her to be with family and friends who have gone before her. Love you sister.
