I am deeply saddened by this news. We had just had a wonderful conversation a couple weeks ago.
I first met Ron in 1983 in Arlington, Tx at church where we discovered we were both from Wisconsin and driving the same Cadillac. We remained supportive friends thru many life situations.
My dear friend will be greatly missed!

It is with deep sorrow we learned of your sudden passing. Our thoughts and prayers are now with your family.
We’ll not forget the many health victories we’ve helped celebrate with you in the past few years. You touched many lives and your spirit will live in all of us. You courageously made all the preparations for this final excursion. You’ve earned your wings and are cleared for departure. Fly with the angels my friend.

It’s with a very heavy heart as I read Ron’s obituary. He was a great man, always happy and friendly. He just loved my dog (Onyx) he got to where he would carry treats in his pocket for Onyx for when we’d see him in our apartment building. Ron will definitely be missed. Rest in peace in the loving arms of the Lord.🙏🙏🙏

  • Robert Pallamolla says:

I remember Ron and the entire Burden family when I was young growing up in Pleasant Prairie before having to move into Kenosha. My parents remained friends of Earl and Esther long after the move. Ron once took my mom and brother up for a plane ride. Pretty awesome. As a fellow veteran I wish to salute your service to our country. All my thoughts and prayers to the family.

  • Willa Collins says:

Ron was a friend and neighbor. He was kind, helpful and had a good sense of humor to everyone he came in contact with. Ron will be missed. My deepest sympathy to his family. May God bring you peace and comfort.

  • Mette Pedersen says:

My deepest condolences to the entire Burden family. Ron and I grew up together in Pleasant Prairie, graduating 8th grade together from tiny Highland School with our ten other classmates, before we went on to 9th grade and beyond in the big city of Kenosha. Ron was always so kind and sweet, a really, really nice guy who made sure I had cab money when he visited Seattle on business where I was a struggling grad student. When my mother was in assisted living near Minneapolis he drove over from Hudson, after church, to spend time with her, a generous thing to do. The Burden family and mine were intertwined for years through our parents’ friendship and our shared youth. I am so sad to hear he is gone.
