Robert John Beckstrom

Robert John Beckstrom, age 69, of Kenosha, passed away on June 24^th, 2026, at Grande Prairie Nursing Home in Pleasant Prairie, WI. He was born in Rice Lake, WI, on March 3^rd, 1957, to the late William and Nancy (Lewis) Beckstrom. On December 16^th, 1995, he married the love of his life Peggy Istvanek. The two spent over 30 years together and remained faithfully married until his passing. Robert loved the outdoors and hunting. Family was always first in his life as he was very active in both his and Peggy’s family’s lives. He loved making others laugh and will be remembered for his unique sense of humor.

Robert is survived by his loving wife Peggy Beckstrom, siblings: William (Beth) Beckstrom and Louise Olson, as well as many in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and good friends. Robert is preceded in death by his parents, and sister: Cathy Gesler.

In accordance with Robert’s wishes, an outdoor memorial service will be held on June 30^th, 2026, at 12 P.M. at Kemper Center (6501 3rd Ave, Kenosha, WI 53143) in the northeast portion of the property. A visitation with family and friends will also be held outdoors in the same location from 11 A.M. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Robert’s name to the charity of your choice are greatly appreciated.
