Thoughts for Robert “Bob” Pacetti;

  • Dear, sweet Laura
    I’m so sorry for this loss. Bob had such a long struggle and is at peace now. I will always remember the great times we had with our Product Promotion guys back in the day. Also, you and Bob welcomed Tom and me into the MN Snap-On family! Bob was a great guy with an amazing smile! He will be missed.

    Take good care of yourself now,
    Love
    Debbie Beales

    • Dear Debbie,
      Thank you so much for your kind words and remembering all the good times we had, and we had quite a lot of fun back then. It seems like we just blinked and the years just passed by so quickly. Bob & I had a great life together. Since his stroke 7yrs ago, then losing our son, our lives were turned upside down. Bob lost of his fight to regain mobility and hadn’t walked in over 6yrs. His last year was spent in a hospital bed, which he hated, After watching him struggle and suffer all these years, I know he is in a better place, as he is now with our son Ryan. I will miss & love them both every day! I feel they are now together and catching up on lost time. We both know, we will be with our loved ones, and you with your Tom one day. Love you and take care of yourself as well!
      Laura

    Laura,
    I am sorry to hear of your loss, with Ryan and now with Bob. I am sorry we never kept in contact, but I did think of you often. I know live in Georgia with my daughter and her family. I will pray for you in the days ahead.

    • Thank you for writing. It has been years since we have been in contact with one another. Someday we will have to catch up. Hope you are well and enjoying your days in Georgia! As you can see from my other replies how our lives changed over the years. We do not know what our futures hold, as we live our days. Things can change when you least expect it. I know that Bob is no longer struggling, and no longer suffering. Bob is now with our son Ryan, and they are catching up on all Ryan’s lost years. I miss them both so very much! One day we will be together again. Bless you & take care!

  • Laura, When thinking of you and Bob [“Roberto Madell Pacetti” – I loved to call him by his full name using an overemphasized Italian accent… and he would just smile back…. I can see him now :-)], I think of your wedding…. singing and seeing you and Bob so happy together! Your happiness was shared with many good friends that day. That’s the Bob and Laura that I remember and will always remember.

    • To our dear Best Man-Big Frank:
      Yes I can clearly recall you calling Bob’s name, the way you always did, Roberto Madell Pacetti, with your overemphasized Italian accent. I loved those carefree days, with the Product Promotion group, so very long ago. I also remember how very happy we were on our wedding day, and you singing at our wedding. We have had so many wonderful friends, years and days along the way. Bob and I enjoyed a long life together and yes we had our ups and downs. His last 7years were by far, the roughest of all, for both of us. His stroke changed his life and losing Ryan, well he lost of his fight to regain mobility As hard as it was losing Bob in the end, I know he is now at peace with our dear son Ryan. We will all be together someday!
      Love to you always,
      Laura

  • Dear Laura,
