Paul G. “Duke” Kreuser, age 77, a resident of Kenosha, passed away Friday August 26, 2011 at his home.
Born on June 22, 1934 in Kenosha, he was the son of the late Andrew and Mercedes (Quilici) Kreuser.
Paul served in the US Navy and was in Japan, Korea, Vietnam, China and Indonesia serving on the AJAX. Paul retired from Great Lakes in 1980. He was the owner of Duke II from 1965-2000. Paul was a member of the VFW, American Legion, Moose Lodge, Moose Riders and the Tavern League.
Paul is survived two sons Lance Kreuser and Mark Kreuser both of Kenosha and two daughters Mrs. Terri (Jeff) Stauss of Elkhorn WI and Mrs. Paula (Fermin) Perez of Kenosha WI. He is also survived by six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He is further survived by four brothers Delbert (Sue), John (Martha), Larry (Diane) and Darrell (Jeanne) all of Kenosha. He is also survived by his very special friend Jan Schadewald.
There will be a life celebration held on Sunday September 4, 2011 at 1:00 pm at Bindelli’s City Zoo Tavern (originally Dukes II) 4601 7th Avenue Kenosha.
In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to Hospice Alliance (10220 Prairie Ridge Blvd, Pleasant Prairie WI 53158).
