Neil M. Pappalardo

Neil M. Pappalardo, age 74, a resident of Franklin WI. died Monday, November 28th,  2022 at Aurora St. Lukes in Milwaukee WI.

He is survived by his wife Janet; two sons Sal (Keri) of Racine WI and Neil (Lashan) of South Bend IN; seven grandchildren, Christina, Amanda, Gabe, Miabella, Vinny, Mia, Brynn, one great-grandchild; Veda, two sisters Catherine (Al) Alfonso Salinas, and Anna (Brad) Yenor. His former daughter-in-law Laura Pappalardo further survives him and several nieces and nephews.

Born in Milwaukee WI, he was the son of the late Neil J. and Joyce (Gruetzmacher) Pappalardo. He was educated in the schools of Milwaukee WI. On September 29th, 1984, he married the Love of his life, Janet Papp, at Saint John’s church in Milwaukee WI. Neil spent many of his year’s life working and retiring from General Electric, where he was an Assembler Technician. Neil was many things in his life, including a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandpa, and great-grandpa. On top of all that, he was an avid sports fan and, in particular, a die-hard Chicago Bears Fan as well as a New York Yankees Fan. He was a proficient bowler, golfer, and softball player. His love for kids and outstanding leadership qualities drew him to spend many years dedicated to coaching high school basketball. He had a great appreciation for history, and during the holidays and family get-togethers, he would love to try to talk anyone into playing him in a game of trivial pursuit or monopoly. Words can’t express the sudden loss of someone who had a massive impact on everyone’s life he touched. He did leave us with unforgettable memories to cherish forever. He was loved by us all and will be missed beyond measure.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 3rd,  2022 at Elim Tabernacle in Greenfield, WI. (5000-S. 60th street) Visitations with the family & friends will be held at the church from 12:00 – 2:00PM until the time of service. Fellowship will follow. The Burial will take place at a later date.
