Napoleon De’Shawn Agnew
August 6, 1973 – December 28, 2021
Napoleon De’Shawn Agnew passed away on December 28th, 2021 at the age of 48. Napoleon, known by his family and friends as ‘Po’, was a beloved son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle, cousin, nephew and friend. He was strong of mind, body and heart and touched many people throughout his life.
Napoleon was born on August 6 in Kenosha, WI, where he lived most of his life. He was a hard worker, could fix almost anything and had a goofy personality that touched everyone he met. He loved music, dancing, fishing and experiencing everything life had to offer. He was naturally charismatic, talking to anyone he crossed paths with. He met people everywhere he went in life, and anyone that knew him had a story to tell. He had so much love to spread and touched many hearts.
Napoleon is survived by his mother Mildred Agnew, father John Bennett, sisters Francina Agnew and LaTanya Hamilton, brothers Aaron Johnson and Charles Miner, six children Sophia Heding, Tyree Heding, Napoleon Agnew, Faith Agnew, Deshawn Agnew, and Kiana Agnew, three grandchildren Ariana Estrada-Heding, Zirie Cain and Atreo Cain, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends. Napoleon was preceded in death by his grandmothers Rose Gordon and Josephine Agnew, his uncle Hilton Agnew, and sister Jacinda Johns.
Though Napoleon was taken too soon, he experienced life to the fullest. The family would like to invite you to join them for a service at 5:30 P.M. on Wednesday January 5th, 2022 at the Woman’s Club of Kenosha (6028 – 8th Avenue). A visitation will be held at the Woman’s Club on Wednesday from 4:00 P.M. until the time of service.
