Michael A. Knese, age 46 a resident of Kenosha, died Thursday May 31st 2012 at his residence.
Michael was born on April 27, 1966 to Jerome and Susan (Loidolt) Knese. On June 4, 1996 at the Cook County (IL) Courthouse he married Dawn Thompson. They moved to the Kenosha area in 2001. Michael retired from the US Navy in February. He loved computers, comic book movies and model trains. He also loved to just get up and plan a day trip somewhere with the kids all of a sudden. He was a cub scout leader for about five years with his youngest son. He also liked spoiling his kids when he could. He always was a kid at heart and loved everyone.
Michael is survived by his parents Jerome Knese of MN and Susan Loidolt of MN, his wife Dawn of Kenosha, two sons Thomas (Emily) Knese of Fargo ND and Andrew Knese of Kenosha and two daughters Angelic Thompson of Kenosha and Star Knese of Kenosha. He is also survived by three sisters Karla (Steve) Scapanski of Sauk Rapids MN, Aimee (Rob) Franzen of Corcoran MN and Stacie Laue of CO. Michael is further survived by his grandmother Virginia Knese.
Funeral services with full military honors will be held on Wednesday June 6th 2012 at 7:00PM at Holy Nativity Lutheran Church at 2312-17th Avenue.
