Michael B. Kuester, 50, of Kenosha, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Tuesday, March 8, 2022. Michael was born on December 9, 1971 in Kenosha to Brian and Nancy (Ellsworth) Kuester. He attended Jeffrey, Lance, and Tremper. He had been employed in the automotive industry since he was a teenager, moving up from porter, thru sales and sales manager, and finally to finance manager. Michael loved music, the Minnesota Vikings, and had recently developed a passion for books. He will be remembered as a kind soul with a quick wit and quirky sense of humor!
He was preceded in death by his sister Kimberly, in infancy; his father, Brian; and his nephew, Jaedon. Michael is survived by his mother, Nancy; his sister Michelle (Syed “Prince” Haque); his son Dylan; his nephews Tristan Bain and Ethan Bain; his niece Madelyn Bain; his partner Karla and her son Sam, several aunts and uncles, including Sue and Howard Geissman, who were always there for him; numerous cousins; and many, many friends.
In remembrance of Michael’s life, his family asks that charitable contributions be made to St. Vincent DePaul-Kenosha.
A private interment will be held at St. George Cemetery at a later date.

Kevin Henriksen says:
Mike was one of my closest friends throughout junior high, high school, and into our 20’s. Though we lost touch over the past 20 years, I still considered him one of the more influential people in my life. That guy that is just super fun to be around and it is infectious. Some people may not know that he was an incredible skier, spent many nights at Wilmot Mountain with him and Lance. We would talk on the phone for hours on end discussing our various musical influences at the time, and he’d put me on 3-way while cold calling his various crushes. Too many good times to mention. And so sad that he is gone. Good bye Mike.
