Mary Elizabeth Passinault

 Mary Elizabeth Passinault, age 81, of Pleasant Prairie Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on September 7th, 2026.

Born on August 8th, 1945, in Pennsylvania to William Sr and Julia (Chelenik) Oatman. Mary served in the US Navy as a General Office Clerk. She graduated from Gateway Technical College with a clerical degree. She had a 36-year career with Kenosha County at the Job Center working with people from all walks of life.

Mary was a devoted, hardworking mother of three to her children Kenneth, Leesa, and Kathy (deceased). Her most cherished role was being a “Granny”. She passed down recipes, gardening tips, how to haggle at rummage sales and other various words of wisdom. She had the most beautiful garden that she spent over 20 years tending. Mary enjoyed camping and fishing. She adored her animals, Willie Nelson, and Gone With the Wind.

Mary is survived by her children Kenneth and Leesa, grandchildren Kayla, Benjamin, Katrina, and Liam and her brother Tim. She was preceded in death by her parents William Sr. and Julia, her brothers David, Thomas William Jr., Charles, James, Daniel, and Jerry and her sisters June, Rose, Janet, and Julia and her daughter Kathy.

Her celebration of life will be held at the Kemper Center, 6501 3rd Ave. Kenosha on September 15th. Visitation will begin at 5pm and service will start at 6pm.

The greatest tribute to Mary is the love she shared with others and the lives she touched along the way. Mary leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories that will live on through all of us.
