I just learned of Marge’s death a few days ago. I am so sorry. I worked with her at Ridgewood for 17 years and remained friends for years afterwards. My condolences to Pat and family.

  • I’m very saddened to hear about Marge’s death. She was a fine librarian at Ridgewood and especially supportive of me as a new teacher many years ago. Marge and I stayed friends for years after her retirement. We kept in contact by email after I moved to Australia, although I’d lost touch with her over past years. She was a wonderful woman–intelligent, challenging, interested in so many important parts of life, caring and loving.

My condolences to you, Pat, and to others of the family.

      HI Jan,
I actually just saw this post. Thank you so much! You and Collin have been on my mind a lot with the fires in New S. Wales. I hope you two are not badly affected. Blessings to both of you, Pat

I always enjoyed being with Marge. She had a quick mind and a friendly spirit. I remember potentially poising her cats by sending her a poinsettia for Christmas. (Who knew cats ate plants?) She was gracious as always. She helped me adjust to Ridgewood after 10 years in private schools. I remember her fondly.
