Marguerite “Marge” Hall

Marguerite “Marge” Hall, age 85, passed away on Friday May 3rd, 2024, at Hospice Alliance Hospice House. She spent her last few days surrounded in love by family and friends.

A lifelong resident of Kenosha, Marge was born on September 13, 1938. She graduated from Bradford High School where she made many lifelong friends and remained active with the Bradford Alumni Association.

On April 4, 1959 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Marge Huck was united in marriage with William “Bill” Hall. They met working in the office at Simmons Company in Kenosha. They were blessed to spend 57 years together until Bill’s passing in 2016.

Marge spent her career as an office manager at ARA while raising her three sons. She and Bill were avid travelers, having visited many places throughout the country and in Europe. After retirement, she and Bill were very active with their grandchildren — working on puzzles, teaching them to play cards, and family board games that became notorious for lasting late into the evening. For many years, every summer included frequent trips to Wisconsin Dells.

Marge’s many hobbies included sewing, reading the daily newspaper, and volunteering her time. As a devout Catholic, she was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church where she participated in the Ladies’ Society and Finance Committee. She found joy in being a loving cat mom and led a very active social life, frequently going out for meals with her extended family and friends. Her greatest joy was the company of those she loved.

Marge was preceded in death by her parents Clarence and Louise (Martell) Huck, siblings Bill (Vi) and Joyce (Jim), daughter Louise Marie, and her husband William (Bill) Hall. She is survived by her three sons Todd (Leslie), Troy (Laurie), and Toby (Lorie) as well as her 7 grandchildren – Chad Lawson (Annie), Travis Hall (Kim), Danielle Hall, McKenzie Furman (Derek), Todd Hall Jr (Kim), Nicole Hall, and Jacob Hall – and 7 great grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 1919 – 54th Street. A visitation with the Hall family will be held Friday, May 10, 2024, in the Kemper Founders Hall, 6501 – 3rd Avenue from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM. There will be a brief “words of remembrance” at 6:00 PM to conclude the visitation. Burial will follow the mass on Saturday at St. James Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church or Kenosha Forgotten Friends would be appreciated.

The Hall family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to Dr. Chua, the entire 3rd floor cardiac staff at Froedtert Hospital of Kenosha, and Hospice Alliance House.
