Margaret “Peggy” Brown passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving daughter and niece on August 18th, 2022.
Margaret was born in Kenosha on August 24th, 1955 to Robert and Sharon Bell. She attended Kenosha schools and was both the Captain of her cheerleading squad and Class President. She would eventually become a Dispatcher for LJH Ambulance service, where she worked for 23 years before retiring in 2021. Margaret loved to watch cooking shows, QVC, and her favorite TV show was General Hospital.
Margaret unconditionally loved her children with all her heart, and they loved her back.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents on her father’s side, Margaret and Ralph Greco; her grandparents on her mother’s side, Preston and Bernice Jensen; her mother and stepfather Sharon and Bill Lehman, and her father Robert Bell.
She is survived by her brother Billy (Julie) Bell, her sisters Linda (Jerry) Zoucha, Debbie Mikkila, Tammy Gray, and Robin Bell, her daughter Nicole Chantel (Larry) Steagall, her son Daryl Shane Brown, her grandchildren Kaylynn Brown, Stephanie (Eric) Brown, Austin (Brooke) Brown, Shane (Sofia) Brown, Skylar Brown, and her great grandchildren Ashtyn Brown and Ariel Brown.
Margaret’s family would like to extend a special thanks to Hospice Alliance for the wonderful care they provided to her.
A Celebration of Life will be held on October 2nd, 2022 from 2-6 at The Vault, 625 57th street.
