Loraine Peltz, age 87 a resident of Kenosha, died Saturday February 18th 2012 at Sheridan Medical Center.
Born on September 20th 1924 in Kenosha, she was the daughter of the late John and Frances (Borowski) Sadowski.
On August 31st 1946 she married Edward F. Peltz. He would precede her in death on July 23rd 2004.
She was educated in the schools of Kenosha, having attended St. Casmir’s Catholic Grade School and graduating from Bradford High School. She also attended classes at Gateway Technical College.
She was employed for 30 years at AMC. She was a member of Local #72 and was active in various union activities. She was a lifelong member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. She was an avid bingo player. She especially enjoyed playing cards with her friends. She was well for her homemade pierogies and spoiled her family as they could never order them “out†because hers were the best they ever had.
She is survived by two sons Kenneth (Carol) E. Peltz of Prineville Oregon; Timothy J. (Denia) Peltz of Pleasant Prairie WI, one daughter Barbara J. Peltz of kenosha, six grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, five brothers; John, Pete, Ed, Alex, Frank; and four sisters, Rose, Alice, Frances and Mary.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday February 22nd 2012 at 2:00PM at All Saint Catholic Cemetery Chapel. (3300-Springbrook Road) Visitation with the family will be on Wednesday at the cemetery chapel from 1:00PM until the time of services.
