Kevin Michael Schmitz age 37 a resident of Kenosha, died Wednesday May 9th 2012 at his residence.
Born on June 4th 1974, he was the son of Roger A. and Kathleen M. (Fox) Schmitz.
A lifelong Kenosha resident, he was educated in the schools of Kenosha, and is a graduate of UW Parkside.
He was employed as a car salesman for Palmen Auto Sales in Racine and Kenosha and also worked at CarMax Auto Mall.
Kevin was a man with a heart of gold and a contagious personality. He enjoyed spending time with friends. He also liked fishing, movies, music and playing video games with his nephews.
He is survived by his parents; Roger and Kathy Schmitz; brother Jim Schmitz of Birchwood, sisters Kimberly Madory of Pleasant Prairie; Rebecca Lyyski of Kenosha; his paternal Grandmother Gloria Schmitz; two nieces, Cayden Lyyski and Kayla Schmitz; and four nephews; Jacob, Max and Luke Madory, and Jayce Lyyski.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents; James and Marjorie Fox and his paternal grandfather Roger F. Schmitz. He was also joined in death, as he was in life by his loyal golden retriever, Dude.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday May 15th 2012 at 7:00PM at St. Marks Catholic Church. Visitation with family will be on Tuesday at the church from 5-7PM.
In lieu of flowers memorials to the family would be appreciated.
