Ken was born in Bristolon June 25th, 1926 to Arthur and Florence (Krahn) Hackbarth. He was educated in the schools of Bristol and graduated from Wilmot High School. On June 7th, 1952, he was united in marriage with Violet Campbell in Gays Mills WI.
Ken was a long time member of Journey Church (formally known as Kenosha First Assembly of God). He made his living as a heating technician and worked for many years at Davis Heating Company. He was mechanically inclined like his father and brothers. Ken was known for his firm handshake and tender heart, helping many in their time of need. Many family trips resulted from Ken first reading about historical places.
