Jean A. Anderson, age 82, of Kenosha, died April 3, 2017, at her residence with her beloved family close by.
Jean was born on January 5, 1935, in Eau Claire to Andrew and Jeanette Houman. On June 30, 1956, she and Willard Anderson were married at First Presbyterian Church in Eau Claire.
Jean worked as a secretary at Grant High School in Fox Lake.
She had a bright mind and like to keep it busy with crossword puzzles, Scrabble, and Solitaire. She loved to knit and crochet and her favorite family activity was camping. Jean adored her family and was so proud to have recently met her first great-great grandchild.
Jean is survived by her husband Willard and by her son Paul (Beverly) Anderson of Fox Lake and her daughter Sara (Steve) Burfield of Kenosha. She is further survived by her grandchildren, Tammie, Tanya, Tina, Buck, Nick, Jessica, Dan, and Chris and by eight great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Eric and her granddaughter Anna.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday April 18, 2017 at Lord of Life Lutheran Church (5601 Washington Road/corner of Wash. Rd. and Green Bay Rd.) at 6:00PM. Visitation with the family will be on Tuesday from 5:00PM until the time of the service.
