Walter winters says:
Steve, I have so many fond memories of your mother. When I married Catherine, “AKA” Kay Higgens, I embraced the family.
The family Thanksgiving dinners, the wonderful celebrations we had at Christmas time. And then the summers of backyard parties Winters reunions playing golf with Jim and Al. Those were wonderful years.
Your mom was the bookkeeper of it all. She always made sure everybody was in line and in place. Such a nice trait. I like to believe that you Steve inherited some of those traits.
May Jan rest in peace, and all of us can relish the times we all had together.
Richard "BO" Bosanko says:
To Janet’s Family: On behalf of the Kenosha Fire Department Family, both Active and Retired members, our sincere sympathy to all of you on the loss of your beloved Janet. We share in your sorrow. Janet was a member of the KFD Family, along with her husband Jim. We loved them both, and they “gave it right back”. We wish you many fond memories of your folks and the good times that you all shared together as a family.
In sadness,
Rich “Bo” Bosanko
Battalion Chief-Retired
