  • Bruce Behncke says:

A HS friend alerted me to Gloria’s passing and I trust the family is comforted by all the heartfelt comments. My thought is she was clearly special early on and her passing evokes an event I’d not recalled for many, many years. We attended the same elementary school and “back in the day” two 6th graders (she and I) were selected to attend a trip to Wis Dells with other kids from the elementary schools around the district. Kids stayed in these little cabins and got a Dells boat trip and a tour of the Baraboo Circus exhibits. Her selection recognized – even in 6th grade, her friendliness and outgoing personality. My condolences to the family, may she rest in peace.
