Gloria Kisielewski

Gloria R. Kisielewski, age 91 a resident of Kenosha, died Thursday May 4, 2017, at her residence.

Gloria was born January 20, 1926, in Kenosha to the late Amedeo and Livia (Lencioni) Rossi. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha and graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School. On October 26, 1946, she married Joseph Kisielewski. He preceded her in death in 1979.

Gloria worked at Jockey International as a payroll manager for 35 years before her retirement in 1994. She was an active member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and served on the Human Concerns Committee. She participated at St. Mary’s Friendly Center for Seniors, was a member of the Catholic Women’s Club, and volunteered at Kenosha Hospital and with the Saint Padre Pio prayer line. She especially enjoyed the time she spent with other Jockey retirees and was a loyal member of the TIC Club with their frequent breakfasts and card parties.

Gloria is survived by her son Louis (Christine) Kisielewski of New Berlin, and by her daughters Carol (G.B. Jr.) Donahue and Mary Jo Ketchum, both of Kenosha. She is further survived by her beloved grandchildren Ginger (Jason) Hainer, Matthew Donahue and John Ketchum, as well as by the many loving cousins and friends that made up her extended family.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday May 12, 2017, at 11:00AM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Kenosha. (corner of 39th Avenue and 73rd Street) Visitation with the family will be on Friday at the church from 9:30AM until the time of mass. Entombment will follow at All Saints Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials to St. Mary’s Catholic Church would be appreciated.

    We will miss Gloria, she was like a sister to Paul, my brother, and me. We had many good times at her home. She was such a loving and caring person. I have great memories of her.

    Joann and I will miss Gloria for all the good times and fun we had with her. Joann especially enjoyed cousin club with Gloria and all the cousins. We loved her for her kindness and her giving personality.
