Our mother, Frances Miriam Sorensen, passed away on Holy Thursday after a brief illness at the age of 97.
Throughout her life Frances was a living example of Christ by giving her time and talents to those who are less fortunate and underserved. Her home and heart were always open to everyone. She is survived by two sons and two daughters. Thomas (Denise) Sorensen of Lakewood, CO, Michael Sorensen (Fiancée Sylvia Stanley) of Racine, WI, Judith Warner of Fort Mill, SC, and Mary Nelson of Racine, Grandchildren: Ryan and Julie Sorensen, Candice Chilcote, Sarah Sorensen, and Adam Lantz, Luke and Stacy Warner, Tom Warner, Katie and Keith Fox, James Sorensen, Ashley Sorensen, Kaitlyn and Dylan Witt, great grandchildren: Karissa and Kendall Chilcote, Kayla Warner, Alexander and Fiona Sorensen, Elias and Ella Fox.
Frances was preceded in death by her husband Earl of 65 years, her son James, daughter in law Sarah Jean, and grandson Zachary.
The family would like to extend special thanks to Bonnie Wadlington for her special care and friendship, Laura Gellott, Heartland Hospice, and the staff at Parkview Assisted Living.
Services for Frances will be held at St. Edward Catholic Church (1425 Grove Ave, Racine, WI 53405) on Saturday April 13th, at 11 A.M. A visitation with the family will take place at the church from 10 A.M. until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to donate your time or resources to a local meal program or the Racine County Food Bank.

My Aunt Frances always has been there for me She was very loving and caring for me I love her with all my heart I will miss her but she is with my Uncle Earl and all the family members we have lost I will always hold all my memories close to my heart ❤️❤️
