Ernesto O. Zertuche, age 62, of Kenosha passed away on Thursday August 4th, 2016 at Kenosha Medical Center.
Ernesto was born in Cotulla Texas on February 20th, 1954 to Feliberto and Apolonria (Otelo) Zertuche. He was united in marriage with Normalinda Ruiz who preceded him in death on June 30th, 2014.
Ernesto worked for many years at Snap-On Tools. He enjoyed being a tool maker and was very hard working and dedicated. He loved to attend the company picnic and family festivals. He enjoyed a beverage with friends and a fine day of fishing.
He is survived by his children Jose (Laurie) Zertuche of Kenosha, Eddie (Jamie) Zertuche of Kansas City, Kansas and Nellie (Jamal) Zertuche of Tyler, Texas and by his grandchildren Cory, Celeste, Nathan and Jason. In addition, he is survived by his siblings, Juan (Nelli) Zertuche, Abel (Beatriz) Zertuche, Diana (Pedro) Del Real, Linda ( Felipe de Leon) Zertuche, Mary (Adam) Flores, Sylvia (Mauro Santoya) Zertuche, Yolanda (Santos) Alvarado, Elvia (Roberto) Santos and Petra (Lucio) Cabella, and also by his brother-in-law Ernesto Ruiz and his family Kim, Anna and Jonathan Ruiz. Preceding him in death were his parents, his wife and his siblings Eusebio, Feliberto, Eddie, Rosabelia and Sylvester.
A memorial service for Ernesto will be held on Friday August 19th, 2016 at 7:00PM at Kemper Center Founders Hall (6501-3rd avenue). A visitation will be held in Founders Hall from 5:30 until the time of the service.
