Eric M. Hodler Sr., age 62, a resident of Salem, passed away on Tuesday, July 1st, 2025, at his home.
Eric was born on August 23rd, 1962, in Zion, IL, to Gene and Janet (Evans) Hodler Sr. His family owned and operated Western Auto Hardware in Rhode Island for several years before moving back to the Midwest.
He graduated from Zion Benton Township High School. He was a truck driver for many years.
Eric is survived by his wife Deonna Cramer – Davis of Salem, WI, and by his father Gene Hodler Sr. He is further survived by his children Samantha (Bobby) Brown, Brandi (Matthew) Lockington and Eric (Tyler) Hodler Jr. and his 10 grandchildren.
Eric was preceded in death by his mother Janet and his brothers, Dallas Hodler Sr. and Gene Hodler Jr.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
