Edward “Skip” E. Gibson

Edward E. Gibson “Skip” 70 of Zion passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus on March 17, 2024, at his residence. Edward “Skip” was born on December 18, 1953, to the late Edward F. Gibson and Faye Hawkins in Ft. Leonardwood, MO. After the death of his father Edward F. his mother moved him and his brother to Zion, Il where she later married Donis Watts Sr.In 1958 they moved to Kenosha County, WI where Edward attended Central High School and Gateway Technical School Culinary of the Arts.He worked numerous food service positions throughout his life.

Skip was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers and Cubbies. On March 23, 1991, he married MaryJo Larson. She proceeded him in death on October 6, 1999. Skip is survived by three brothers and one sister. Russell R. Gibson Sr. (Judy) Kenosha, Donis Watts Jr. (Sheila) Norris City, IL, William Watts-Grams (Sacha), Kenosha, And Peggy Nunemaker (Chip) Kenosha. Skip is further survived by several nieces and nephews, cousins, and aunts and uncles. Skip was preceded in death by his wife Maryjo, his parents, and a brother Roger Sneed.
