Diane Zajac, beloved daughter, sister, and friend, passed away suddenly on September 15, 2025, at the age of 58.

Born on August 18, 1967, Diane brought warmth, laughter, and kindness into the lives of many. She will be remembered for her generous spirit, compassionate heart, and the love she shared with her family and friends.

One of Diane’s favorite pastimes was playing Yahtzee with her family and friends, where she often claimed victory with both skill and good humor. She also enjoyed arts and crafts, especially painting fuzzy posters and creating colorful works of art. Today, nearly every member of her family has her posters proudly hanging in their rooms, a lasting reminder of her creativity and joy. Her love for these simple but meaningful pastimes brought smiles to those around her and will continue to do so for years to come.

Diane is deeply mourned by her parents, David (Dianne Thayer) and Carol, and her two sisters, Christine Crawford (Ryan Atkins) and Barbara Darragh. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her loved ones and all who were touched by her presence.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Aashiyana Family Care of Racine for the compassion and care they provided to Diane.

Services to honor Diane’s life will be announced by the family at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that those who wish to honor Diane’s memory consider a contribution to a charity of their choice.

She will be greatly missed and forever remembered.
