Derick L. Morris

Derick Lamont Morris, 64, went to be with our Lord and Savior on February 18^th, 2023. He was born May 13^th, 1958 to Willie C. Hall (Morris) and Galloway Hill in Chicago Il. Derick moved to Racine Wisconsin in 1970. He was a graduate of Horlick High School and studied Criminal Justice at Gateway Community College. He then moved to Dutch Harbor Alaska where he worked for over 20 years before moving back to Racine in 2021.

Derick leaves behind his loving mother, Willie C. Hall, a beautiful daughter Tonica Morris, 3 sisters, L’Tanya D. Morris, Sharonda L. Morris, and Lynda (Charles) Bishop, 2 brothers Torrist D. Cannon and Marcus T. Cannon, and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandmother Wilda Magness, Grandfather George A. Morris, and brother Alexander C. Hill.

As per the family’s wishes, services will be held privately.
