Christopher James Bonn

Christopher James Bonn, age 29, of Kenosha, passed away on January 26, 2026. He was born on March 29, 1996, in Kenosha, to Robin J. Bonn and Paula (Smolik) Bonn. Christopher attended local schools and graduated from Bradford High School in 2014 before continuing his education at Gateway Technical College. He had a strong work ethic and loved staying active, spending much of his free time working out and visiting several gyms throughout Kenosha.

Chris had a deep love for Wisconsin sports, especially the Green Bay Packers. He also had a big heart for animals and shared a special bond with his dogs, Eli and Ava, as well as five cats, who brought him so much comfort and happiness. One of his favorite passions was cooking, and he especially enjoyed competing in local food challenges.

Above all, Christopher will be remembered for his fierce love and dedication for family, friends, and his devoted partner of over 12 years, Amanda. He is survived by his father, Robin Bonn; his sisters, Kelli Bonn and Nicole Bonn; loving partner, Amanda Lewis, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Paula Bonn; his grandparents, Richard and Shirley Bonn and Raymond and Mary Smolik; and his uncle and Godfather, Randy Bonn.

Chris’s family would like to give special thanks to the team at Froedtert Pleasant Prairie Hospital for all of their care. A visitation will be held at Kemper Center Founder’s Hall (6501 3rd Ave) on Friday, February 6, 2026, from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. A memorial Mass will follow at St. Peter’s Catholic Church (2224 30th Ave) at 4:00 P.M. on the same day.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are appreciated.
