Carla Louise Coolidge (Thompson), age 68, of Kenosha, passed away on November 13th, 2025, at Froedtert South in Pleasant Prairie. She was born on February 20th, 1957, in Kenosha, to Donald Thompson and Lucille (Longello) Thompson. She attended local schools and graduated from Tremper High School in 1975. On April 8th, 1978, she married the love of her life Michael Coolidge at St. Mark’s Catholic Church. Together they raised two beautiful children and remained faithfully married for 47 wonderful years.
Carla loved crafting, playing bingo and thrifting. She also loved visiting estate sales and rummage sales in her free time. Carla was a member of Al-Anon and was very active at meetings in the community. Throughout her life, she fostered many children and was a kind and compassionate mother to many who needed it.
Carla is survived by her husband: Michael Coolidge, mother: Lucille “Honey” Thompson, children: Jayden Coolidge and Kelly Coolidge, a grandson: Kavin Coolidge, a brother: Keith (Penny) Thompson and her best friend: Sherry (Brett) Kreuser. She is preceded in death by her father.
The family would like to thank Carla’s close friends and the Al-Anon community for all the kind support throughout her life. Our thoughts and prayers are with you as well during this difficult time.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
