Bernice Brown (Prostko) – Casey Family Options Funerals & Cremations, LLC

Bernice Brown (Prostko), age 90, of Kenosha, passed away on September 19^th, 2025, at Brookside Care Center in Kenosha. She was born on February 26^th, 1935, to the late Dominic Prostko and Bernice (Wrobleski) Prostko. She attended local schools and graduated from Bradford High School in 1953. On June 15^th, 1957, she married Karl Brown and remained faithfully married to him until her passing. For many years she worked at the front desk at Martinos Drycleaners. Family was always first to Bernice, as she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

She is survived by her husband Karl Brown, children: Michael (Sue) Brown of Florida, Peggy (Joe) Camilli of Georgia and Scott (Darcy) Brown of Kenosha, grandchildren: Julia (Chris), Michele (Brett), Paige (Andy), Vanessa and Vinnie, a great grandchild: Cason as well as many other living relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, son: Dan Brown and several brothers and sisters.

The family would like to kindly thank the staff at Brookside Care Center for making mom’s life comfortable in her final days.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church (714 49^th Street) on Friday October 3^rd, 2025, at 10 A.M. A visitation will also take place at church from 9 A.M. until the time of the service.
