Ashley L. Harnisch

Ashley L. Harnisch, a beloved mother, daughter, sister, aunt and granddaughter, passed away at her home on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, in Salem Wisconsin at the age of 35.   Ashley was a loving, kind and compassionate person who would lend a helping hand to anyone in need.  Ashley was born on November 30, 1987, to John R. and Connie (Fox) Harnisch.  

Ashley appreciated the simple things in life. She loved spending time with family, especially her son, nieces, nephews and friends.    Ashley also loved to spend time with her dad up north on his land, hunting and fishing.   

Ashley is survived by her son, Gabriel DeLeon; Father, John R. (Tracey) Harnisch; Mother, Connie (Fox) Harnisch; five siblings – John H. Harnisch, Christine (Harnisch) Thornton, Michael Harnisch, Alyssa Augustyn and Emily Augustyn; 8 nieces and nephews – Brooke Harnisch, Derek Harnisch, Kylee Thornton, Grace Thornton, Caleb Thornton, Laialee (Harnisch) Schutters, Sawyer Augustyn and Liam Hicks.  Ashley is further survived by her step-grandfather Earl Verette, many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends.  

Ashley was preceded in death by her grandparents, LeRoy Fox; Rosalee (Fox) Verette; Henry Harnisch and Patricia Harnisch-Smith; and her uncle, Jeffrey Harnisch.

A Celebration of Life will be held on January 28th, 2023 at the Parkway Chateau, 12304 75th street Kenosha, WI, 53142 – Madison Room from 4-7 pm.

The family would like to express our sincere appreciation for the outpouring of love and support we have received.

    Sandy and I was very sad to hear about Ashley. Sending thoughts and prayers to her Son and the Harnisch and Fox family. May Ashley rest in peace. Unfortunately Sandy is unable to travel to attend the Celebration of Life. But will be there in spirit.
